Owen: Chelsea don't scare us - 4th April 2011
Michael Owen is confident United can overturn a run of disappointing results at Stamford Bridge when the Reds face Chelsea in the UEFA Champions League quarter-final first-leg on Wednesday.
Despite enduring a run of 10 games without victory in West London, Owen insists Sir Alex Ferguson’s side are fully capable of beating Chelsea, citing impressive performances during the last two trips to the Bridge.
In an exclusive interview, Owen told ManUtd.com: “Since I’ve been at the club the games at Stamford Bridge have been odd. We don’t get outplayed there, that’s for sure. Unfortunately we haven’t had many good results, though. I’m sure our luck will change at some point.

Before Sunday's game you'd already been involved in a United v Liverpool Cup tie. What do you remember of that game in 1999?
To be honest, not very much. The games I played for Liverpool at Old Trafford blend into one. Was it a header or a chip I scored that day? [UR: A header]. See, I think I've tried to forget it. All I remember is Solskjaer came off the bench and scored late on, which wasn't a very pleasant feeling.

Growing old gracefully - 15th August 2010
Once a boy wonder then an injury-prone journeyman, Michael Owen has now made himself at home with Manchester United
On the 35-minute journey from his home in north Wales to the Manchester United training centre at Carrington, he thinks about his life. He’s got Louise and the four kids: the rocks upon which everything is built. Then there is his love for racehorses, a passion he could sustain only by turning it into a business. Golf is his relaxation; well, sometimes. And not least there is Michael Owen’s football career.
